BRIEF
︎As the designer for the Jeopardy! Masters spinoff tournament, I was responsible for the development of the key visual identity and overall show packaging. This special event, which invited six of the most iconic contestants from Jeopardy! history to compete for the title of ultimate champion, required a refined, high-end design approach. My work involved elevating the existing Jeopardy! brand to create a more prestigious feel, akin to an awards ceremony, with customized graphics that matched the intensity of the competition. This included designing a new tournament logo, intro-motion graphics, in-show graphics, and promotional materials, all aimed at delivering a visually stunning and engaging viewing experience.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
︎- Logo Design: Developed a new logo for the Jeopardy! Masters tournament, reflecting its exclusive, high-stakes nature while maintaining a connection to the classic Jeopardy! brand.
- Main Title & Motion Graphics: Designed a dynamic intro-motion sequence tailored to the quarterfinals, semi-finals, and finals, ensuring that the visual style heightened the excitement of the competition.
- In-Show Graphics: Created in-show graphics, including leaderboard displays, monitors for set design, and explorer graphics, adding a layer of prestige to the show’s production.
- Promotional Graphics: Developed a series of promotional visuals that supported the tournament’s marketing campaigns and social media outreach.

ABOUT LOGO
The Jeopardy! Masters logo draws inspiration from the prestige of the event, often described as the 'Super Bowl' of Jeopardy!. The design sets itself apart from the syndicated Jeopardy! logo with a bold use of gold texture, symbolizing the status of the Jeopardy! Masters champion. The logo is shaped to reflect the iconic game board screen from the set, further emphasizing the competition’s unique identity. For consistency across the brand system, the geometric shapes used in the logo are incorporated into additional elements like mortise windows and L3rd.
