BRIEF
Walt’s character begins as a callous man, closed off to many of his surroundings and unaccepting of those who interact with him most. Our sequence will depict the progression of Walt’s character gradually being softened by the community around him. The vines represent the Hmong family who brought purpose to Walt’s life again after being closed off for so long. The introduction of color in contrast to the white environment is a metaphor for his purpose. The neighborhood surrounding him represents the Hmong, the community that he was loved by.
